Important Honors Program Update

Beginning Fall 2025 acceptance into ’s prestigious Honors Programs will only be open to students applying as Early Decision (ED) applicants. Due to this change, we will no longer be offering an option for students to apply as a Regular Decision honors applicant.

This adjustment reflects the extraordinary growth in honors applications and our commitment to cultivating a highly selective and diverse academic community comprised of the best, brightest, and most committed students. By focusing on Early Decision, we can better identify students who are not only academically exceptional but also deeply aligned and committed to ’s mission and values.

Additionally, please remember that admission to the Honors Program is the only pathway for students to join our highly selective Honors Leadership Society, an elite group designed to foster leadership, innovation, and impact on campus and beyond.

While the Honors Program will now be exclusively an Early Decision program, we remain committed to supporting high-achieving students:

  • We will continue to award competitive and generous Dean’s Scholarships and Merit Scholarships for students who apply as non-honors applicants.
  • Honors classes for top students may be made available even if a student does not qualify for the Honors Program (space permitting), ensuring access to rigorous academics that challenge and inspire.

These updates highlight our commitment to excellence and our desire to provide meaningful opportunities for all students. The changes to the Honors Program underscore the exceptional benefits of applying Early Decision for those seeking the best academic, leadership, and personal growth opportunities at .

More information and deadlines for the Honors Program will be posted in the next few weeks.
