The Rabbi Arthur Schneier Program for International Affairs of , inaugurated in March 2004, seeks to promote international understanding and cooperation by providing an educational forum for the exchange of ideas related to diverse critical issues in our increasingly interdependent world.
Concerned with a broad spectrum of global issues, ranging from political problems of war and peace, human rights and welfare, to world problems of public health, the environment, and international regulations and law, the Schneier Program sponsors public lectures by notable world personalities and leaders, as well as educational programs for college and university students. The program is committed to enhancing citizen participation and civic culture. It works with public and private organizations dedicated to improving the individual's ability to live and function in a globalizing world. Consonant with its vision of a world defined by tolerance for difference, the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Program for International Affairs of sets the standard for open dialogue, peacefully conducted.
