The B.S. in Business Analytics provides students with a strong foundation in business and data analytics to be coupled with a second business major or minor or a minor in computer science. 

Graduates of the program gain expertise in many areas and are prepared for exciting careers with business analytics roles within media and marketing firms, banks, hedge funds, consulting firms and sports teams. Our alumni network provides many mentorship and job placement opportunities for graduates throughout their careers.

The Office of Admissions conducts regular tours of both the men’s and women’s undergraduate campuses. In addition to touring our campuses, you might also sit in on a class or shiur or have lunch with current students.

  1. IDS 2030 – Business Analytics and Programming
  2. IDS 2460- Data Management for Business Analytics 
  3. IDS 2550 – Business Intelligence and Consumer Insights
  4. IDS 3000 – Business Intelligence Project (Capstone)
  5. IDS Elective #1
  6. IDS Elective #2
  7. BUS Elective #1
  8. BUS Elective #2
  9. BUS Elective #3

Please note, all three business electives must be within the same degree, e.g. Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science. 



Information and Decision Sciences Minor

  4. IDS 1556 - Regression Analysis and Visualization
  5. IDS 2030 - Business Analytics and Programming
  6. One of the following:
  • IDS 2550 - Business Intelligence and Consumer Insights
  • IDS 2460 - Data Management for Business Analytics

 

* Students who have MAT 1412 or Calc AP should take an additional business core or IDS elective instead.
** Students who have STA 1021 or Stat AP should take either IDS 2460 or IDS 2550 instead.
