Moshe is the managing principal of Maccabee Ventures. Bringing over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, strategic angel investor, and trusted collaborative advisor to early stage technology companies across multiple industries, Moshe’s industry expertise includes FinTech, Cybersecurity, PropTech, Digital Health, and SilverTech™. Technology companies in which Moshe has been involved include , , , Xtify (acquired by IBM) and Ksolo (acquired by Fox Interactive Media/MySpace).
A native Chicagoan and third-generation senior living owner/executive, Moshe coined the term SilverTech™ denoting the investment in senior friendly technologies which allow seniors and the infirm to remain independent, active and enhance their quality of life.
Prior to Maccabee Ventures, Moshe was SVP at Meridian Equity Partners, and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at The Kensington Group. Moshe serves as the managing member of BFI, LLC, his family office, and is also an adjunct professor at Sy Syms School of Business teaching courses in Angel and Venture Capital Investing.
Moshe was awarded the Social Entrepreneurship Award by N Stern Business School and the Stewart Satter Social Entrepreneurship Fund.
Moshe also devotes time and resources to several nonprofit boards and committees, including AIPAC Venture Tech, UJA’s Tech & Venture, Manhattan Jewish Experience and Project Extreme.
Moshe earned his B.A. from , an LMSW from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Applied Behavioral Analysis certification from UNT and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. Moshe is also FINRA Series 7 and 63 certified.
