It has sponsored periodic comparative seminars by Chinese and Jewish scholars, as well as Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, and informal meetings of students, alumni, and other professionals to foster academic and cultural and connections. Responding to increasing interest within the Chinese community, the CJC is currently launching academic programs in Jewish studies with a comparative perspective designed for Chinese students.
