UNIVERSITY OPERATIONS

This semester, students will be able to do more with their ID card. Introducing card: a new program that links your meal plan to your student ID and makes it accessible to you all in one place through a mobile app. You may download the OneCard app by searching “Touchnet OneCard” in the App or Google Play Store. Login anytime to add money to your meal plan, check balances and purchase food at on-campus dining facilities or campus convenience stores.

So the next time you're craving that mac and cheese but left your ID card at home, simply login to the virtual card app and use the MealSwipe function. And stay tuned—your card will be able to do even more very soon.

Tips for Using the Mobile App

Search for the app at your preferred store

  • “TouchNet 360u”

  1. Type in “yes” to search for your school. 
  2. Click the link for when it comes up and hit NEXT.
  3. Once you receive a prompt that says “configuration for your school is successful” hit NEXT.
  4. On the bottom where it says select account type: 0 Account ID 9: Username; click “9: Username” then NEXT. 
  5. You will be prompted to enter your credentials. Enter your User (not email) and password and click ok. You should receive a screen that says “your account has been registered successfully. *You may want to click on my id so that the default heartland university id goes away and is replaced by your id. This can be done at anytime and does not affect anything.  

Go to “OneCard Places” from your home screen. Select the dining location you wish to use it at. Then simply slide the image of your id card to the right. You can then tell the cashier you paid using your mobile swipe. They can look it up based on your pic from their screen.

The account will not be charged until the cashier clicks on your image and charges you. 

  1. Go to "Manage Account" icon
  2. On the bottom click on "Account Control"
  3. Then click "Balances"

Note: You may also check transaction history, account info, last card usage and such. 

Students may deposit money on their Card through:

  • Mobile app - Once you log in, click Manage Account, then Account Control located on the bottom, finally proceed to click Deposit to add funds. 
  •  - Once you log in, click Add Cash from the menu.
  • Student Finance - Money can also be added by visiting the office of student finance.
