Wurzweiler Student Publishes Letter on Asylum and Homelessness

Wurzweiler School of Social Work student Miriam Boden '25 published a letter to the editor for SILive.com on New York City homelessness and asylum policy. Responding to the article "Legislation to create 5-year NYC shelter plan for asylum seekers introduced in City Council," Boden , "I believe that the city should have had an infrastructure put in place for all homeless Americans and not just asylum refugees. Homeless shelters should be in all five boroughs, so that families or individuals can be in a borough of their choice and not just placed wherever the city’s officials feel they should be hidden."
