Suicide Prevention and Resiliency
Join us on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 6 p.m. in Weissberg Commons on the Wilf Campus for a panel discussion on Suicide Prevention and Resiliency: An Evening for Practitioners, co-sponsored by the Office of Alumni Affairs, the Counseling Center, the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Chag HaSemikhah 2024
Attend or livestream Chag HaSemikhah, the ordination ceremony for rabbis trained at RIETS, on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Witness the future leaders of the Jewish community coming together to celebrate their commitment to Torah learning and personal growth. - Alumni night with the Macs was Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. More than 140 alumni showed up to cheer on the Macs against rivals Farmingdale State and recognize Coach Johnny Halpert, who is being inducted into the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday, March 17.
- On Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, Dean Noam Wasserman presented the State of Sy Syms 2024 webinar. Students, faculty and alumni heard about Sy Syms's 2023 Double-Chai Anniversary year in review, data about recent enrollment, majors, job placement and new innovations from Sy Syms such as the school's JD-MBA with Cardozo and its Semikha+MBA program with RIETS.
- On President’s Day, Feb. 19, 2024, the Undergraduate Torah Studies Program hosted male alumni at Back to Beis, part of the Dor L’Dor Learning Program for men at the Glueck Beit Midrash on the Wilf Campus.
- in Israel held a career expo on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, for the S. Daniel Abraham students. Over 30 alumni represented more than a dozen professions such as medicine, law, computer science, venture capital, human resources and education.
- More than 150 women attended the women’s Yom Iyun, Come Learn at Stern Dor L’Dor program on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024. The program was co-sponsored by the Stern College Office of Torah & Spiritual Life and the Office of Alumni Affairs. and

Helping Students
Are you interested in helping students with things like quick résumé reviews, informational interviews and preparing for careers in your industry? Please consider joining the Mentoring Volunteer Program, a group of over 800 alumni willing to speak to students about career-related topics.
