Curator Shulamith Berger Represents in Confronting Anti-Semitism Workshop

On Sunday, October 17, 2021, Curator Shulamith Berger represented in a recorded panel discussion on .  Participants represented each of the partners, and Shuli launched the discussion with a history of the of posters and in the university . After sharing biographical information on Jacob Birnbaum, founder of the Student Struggle, Shuli explained the importance of the collection in documenting the organization's resistance to anti-Semitism in the United States, its impact on student activism, and the birth of public protest in the American Jewish community. She noted how news of the protests were uplifting to imprisoned dissident Natan Sharansky's spirit. Listen to Shuli's comments at the start of the recording .
