David Khabinsky is the Digital Media Specialist in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. Born in Israel, he moved to Florida in 1997. David graduated from Yeshiva College in 2014 as a Jewish History major. Prior to joining , David worked for a production house based out of New Jersey. His clients there included PwC, NBC, as well as several Jewish organizations. He characterizes himself as a "bit of a tech geek and I play guitar and piano."

1. What is your favorite aspect of your job at ?

My favorite aspect would probably be the variety of projects that I work on. Even though all of my projects center on and marketing , there are so many different projects from all of our departments that I never have a dull day. I’m always learning something new and trying out different techniques which makes each project unique.  

2. What profession did you think you would one day hold when you were a child?

In high school I had a long stretch where I thought I would be a physical therapist. I got pretty good at giving massages and I used to have lines of people waiting to get one. One of the things that pushed me away from physical therapy was the idea that sometimes you have to cause physical pain to someone to help them get better. I’m sure they teach you do deal with it in PT school, but I never got that far.  

3. What has been your favorite video or project that you’ve worked on at ?

My favorite project would be the . It was an incredibly challenging video to produce and we were working on a tight deadline. I learned a lot through that project and I was amazed at the reaction that we received and I think it had a really positive message.  

4. What would your colleagues be surprised to learn about you?

During high school, I worked several summers in renovations and construction. Lifting hurricane-proof windows is not easy.
